Who provides Toast

Toast is provided by Relay Labs Limited, a private company limited by shares, registered in Ireland, company number 807438. Registered address: 35 Lower Sherrard Street, Dublin 1, D01 T6N7, Ireland. Email: [email protected].

Your account

• You can start a speech without an account. To save it, write a draft or buy anything, you confirm an email address, and that becomes your account.
• You sign in with a code or a link we email to you. Keep access to that email address safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• You must be at least 18 to buy anything on Toast.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Our Privacy policy explains what we keep after that and why.

What you can buy

All prices are in euros. The price shown is the total you pay. You pay once; nothing renews.

• Your wedding speech, €29: the full text of every draft, every editing tool, copy and download, the PDF, Word and cue card files, and the rehearsal page, for one speech. It includes 5 drafts.
• Story Harvest, €10: your friends' stories reach the writer and your drafts, for that speech. Collecting stories is free.
• 5 more drafts, €5: five more full drafts of that speech.
• A seat in a Wedding party room, €10: one person's place in one room.

A speech and what you add to it stay available until two weeks after the wedding date, or two weeks after you pay when the wedding has already happened. The wedding date is fixed when you pay. Download anything you want to keep before then.

A Wedding party room can be fully used until two weeks after its wedding date, or two weeks after its first seat was paid when the wedding has already happened. For one more week the room is read only, and you can still read and download your speech and the running order. Then the room closes.

Digital content, and no refunds

Everything on Toast is digital content that you get straight away. Before you pay, you ask us to start at once and confirm that you understand you then lose your right to cancel within 14 days. So once you have paid and access has started, there are no refunds.

This does not affect your rights under consumer law if Toast does not work as described.

Wedding party rooms

• A room has at most 6 seats. Each speaker pays for their own seat, the person who creates the room included.
• The couple's names and the wedding date are set when the room is created and cannot be changed afterwards.
• The person who creates the room is its organiser. They order the speeches, can revoke any invite link, can remove a member and can hand the role to another member. Every member can make invite links.
• A member who leaves or is removed is not refunded. They can still read their own speech in the room for 30 days, or until the room closes on schedule if that comes first.
• While payments are not switched on, rooms stay open until their last member leaves.
• Nobody can edit another member's speech. Other members can read your speech only if you let them.

Using Toast fairly

• Only add text, stories and files that you wrote or have the right to use.
• Do not use Toast for anything abusive, hateful, harassing or unlawful, or to harm anyone.
• Do not try to get around the limits, the payments or the security of Toast, or to read anyone else's speeches or stories.

If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. We tell you why unless the law or someone's safety stops us.

Text written with AI

Toast uses AI to write and rewrite drafts from what you tell it. A draft is a starting point, not a finished speech. AI can get facts, names and tone wrong. Read every draft, change what needs changing and decide what you say. You are responsible for the speech you give.

Friends who send a story

When a friend sends you a story through Story Harvest, they agree that it is shared with you and processed by AI to help write your speech. Use their stories kindly, and only for your speech.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Toast available, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Download your speech before the day, in case the venue has no signal. We may change or improve Toast. If we change these terms, we change the date below, and we tell you by email first when a change affects something you have bought.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for how a speech is received, or for anything you do with a draft. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland can hear any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country, and you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
