Toast helps people who have been asked to speak at a wedding find their words.
What is Toast?
Toast is an AI-assisted wedding speech writer. You pick your role (best man, maid of honour, a parent of the bride or groom, bride, groom, sibling, friend, officiant or someone else), answer a few guided questions about the couple, and Toast drafts a speech from your own memories. Friends and family can send you their stories by link with Story Harvest. A speech costs €29 one time, VAT included, with no subscription. Toast is made by Toast (by Relay Labs Limited) in Ireland and does not use your speeches or stories to train AI models.
Toast (toastspeech.com) is not related to Toast, Inc., the restaurant software company.
Why Toast exists
Being asked to speak at a wedding is an honour, and for most people it is also a worry. You have the memories, but finding the words, the shape and the right length is hard, especially with a room full of people you love waiting to hear it.
Toast exists to help with that part. It asks the questions a good friend would ask, gathers the stories other people remember, and gives you a draft to work from. The memories, the voice and the final say stay yours.
How we handle your words
- We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your speeches or stories to train AI models.
- Your speeches are private to you. A friend's story is seen only by the speaker it was sent to, not by the couple.
- Our support tools never show your speeches, stories or voice notes.
- You can delete your account yourself at any time: open Account, then Delete my account.
- Toast is hosted in the European Union. The AI services we use, Anthropic and OpenAI, are based in the United States, and the Privacy policy explains the safeguards.
