Email: [email protected]. We reply to every email, usually within two working days.

When you write about a payment, send it from the email address you use on Toast and tell us roughly when you paid. Never send us your card number.

Getting started

• Choose who you are speaking as and the tone you want, then answer a few questions about the couple and your memories. You can start without an account.
• To save your speech and write the first draft, confirm your email address with the six-digit code we send you. That email address is your account.
• Read the draft out loud, change anything you would not say, and use the tone and paragraph tools to rework it.

Prices and what you get

All prices are in euros. The price shown is the total you pay. You pay once; there is no subscription and nothing renews.

• Your wedding speech, €29: the full text of every draft, every editing tool, copy and download, the PDF, Word and cue card files, and the rehearsal page, for one speech. It includes 5 drafts.
• Story Harvest, €10: your friends' stories reach the writer and your drafts. Collecting stories is free.
• 5 more drafts, €5: five more full drafts of the same speech.
• A seat in a Wedding party room, €10: one speaker's place in one room. Each speaker pays for their own seat.

Before you pay, you can read the start of your first draft for free. Everything is digital: nothing is posted to you, and you get access the moment your payment is confirmed.

Paying

• You pay on a secure payment page run by Stripe, our payment provider. You can pay by card, and with Apple Pay or Google Pay where your device offers them.
• Toast never sees or stores your card number.
• After paying you come back to Toast and your speech unlocks straight away. If it still looks locked, wait a minute and reload the page.
• The charge on your card statement names Toast.

Receipts and invoices

After every payment we email a receipt and an invoice to the email address you paid with. The invoice names the company and its company number.

The company is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and the invoice says so.

If a receipt does not arrive, check your spam folder, then email us and we will send it again.

Refunds and cancellations

Everything on Toast is digital content that you get straight away. Before you pay, you ask us to start at once and confirm that you understand you then lose your right to cancel within 14 days. So once you have paid and access has started, there are no refunds.

• If you were charged but nothing unlocked, or you were charged twice for the same thing, email us and we will put it right: we unlock what you paid for or refund the payment that should not have happened.
• If Toast does not work as described, email us. Your rights under consumer law are not affected.
• A speaker who leaves a Wedding party room, or is removed from it, is not refunded.

How long you have access

• A speech you bought, and what you added to it, stays available until two weeks after the wedding date, or two weeks after you pay when the wedding has already happened. The wedding date is fixed when you pay.
• A Wedding party room can be fully used until two weeks after its wedding date. For one more week it is read only, and you can still read and download your speech and the running order. Then the room closes.
• Download anything you want to keep before then. We email you a reminder the day after the wedding and 3 days before full access ends.

Printing, downloading and rehearsing

• Download your speech as a speech PDF, printable cue cards, a keepsake PDF or a Word file, in three print designs.
• The rehearsal page shows your speech as a teleprompter or as cue cards, with a timer. Once it has opened, it keeps working without a signal.
• Download your speech before the day, in case the venue has no signal.

Story Harvest

• Share a link with friends and family so they can send you a memory. They do not need an account.
• The stories arrive in your inbox, where you choose which ones to use. Collecting stories is free; with Story Harvest bought, the stories you choose reach your drafts.
• You can stop the link at any time.

Wedding party rooms

• A room is for everyone speaking at one wedding, up to 6 speakers. It holds the running order and the timings and checks that nobody tells the same story.
• Each speaker brings a speech, written on Toast, pasted in or uploaded, and pays for their own seat when they join through an invite link.
• Nobody can edit another speaker's speech, and others can read yours only if you let them.

Your account and your data

• You sign in with a code or a link we email to you. There is no password to forget.
• To delete your account, open Account in the app and choose Delete my account. The Privacy policy explains what we keep after that and why.
• To ask what data we hold about you, email us.

Something not working?

• The sign-in code has not arrived: wait a minute, check your spam folder, then ask for a new code.
• The payment page did not open: reload the page and try again. If it still fails, email us with the time it happened.
• You paid but the speech is still locked: wait a minute and reload. If it is still locked, email us from the email address you use on Toast.
